Up for discussion/debate - purposely has not be implemented anywhere (even in Synchronet) yet, so everything about it is just a proposal. I do plan to add it to Synchronet after an appropriate amount of time to collect reviews/comments/feedback.
The proposal (it's not any kind of standard yet, don't implement it) is now here: https://gitlab.synchro.net/main/sbbs/-/blob/master/docs/doordrop_ini.md and https://github.com/SynchronetBBS/sbbs/blob/master/docs/doordrop_ini.md
Comments/updates have a slowed down. If no other changes are made by the end of the month (Oct-31), I'll stamp that v1.0 and implement support for it (DOORDROP.INI) in Synchronet BBS software.
