Log Message:
syncdoom: document LAN/loopback vs inter-BBS lockstep latency up front
The lockstep-latency nuance -- deathmatch plays fine on a shared install
(the tic loop runs over loopback/LAN, well under one 35 Hz tic) and only degrades over the not-built inter-BBS federation (internet RTT inside the
tic loop) -- was stated only inside the federation design section. Add a
crisp callout near the top so a reader gets it without scrolling to the deferred design, since it also applies to the shipped LAN multi-host deathmatch.
Co-op absorbs internet RTT; competitive deathmatch does not.
